Steep cliffs jut out onto what was once an ocean, but is now just scrub land, inhospitable and incredibly dry, a monsoon takes place in spring each year, but the cliffs themselves can be treacherous and yet the views can be, on clear days, mesmerizing.

The unwelcoming shrubbery surrounding this clearing makes it the perfect meeting place for wolves who don't wish to be disturbed, or those who want to taste the strangely bittersweet berries growing on the trees, as long as they have hides thick enough to avoid the thorns.
