Sonrisa beamed at Valand. "What a silly question! I can only think of good or better things to say about you!" Giving her white head a little toss, she grinned, thinking back. There had never been a time when she'd seen anything bad in him. Why, this wolf could even befriend a pair of massive bears! I could never say a foul word about him!
It was oddly natural for her to speak to him, considering the margin of two years since the last conversation she'd had. Somehow, the words came out with ease, and she felt perfectly comfortable around him. Such good friends last forever, even through two years of silence.

A hearty laugh erupted from his throat. "Sure." he said in a joking tone. He grinned back and continued his laugh. "I can almost say that it has only been a day or two since we last talked. Or atleast thats how it looks." he chuckled, still good friends. Then again he had alot of friends and half of them weren't even wolven! He had been able to befriend a wild cat or two, bears, horses, foxes and anything else under the rainbow. He hadn't seen any recently though and he wondered why.

The lean white wolf loped tirelessly across the rough landscape, her paws made up a steady rhythm, never faltering. Thump, thump-thump, thump, thump-thump... They sky was dark blue, sprinkled with many little bright stars. The cool air felt refreshing whooshing through her thick fur, it smelled of pine, earth, and...
Inima paused and lifted her head to sniff at the night air with suspicion. Other wolves...? She sniffed again then flicked her ears in conformation. Yep. Sneaking quietly over the next ridge, and stepping cautiously until they were in view. They were barely in her line of sight, and she stood there trying to decide what to do. She could run if they tried to attack, but maybe this was her chance to join a pack. It didn't look like they were going anywhere, so she stood silently. Arguing with herself.

Sonrisa smiled. "A day, a year, no difference," she teased. "But it does feel like that," she added, sobering but still smiling. It's amazing how natural this is... I really must have changed quite a bit.
"Now it's my turn to ask... What do you think of me?" Still half-smiling, she wondered what his response would be. Did she still seem young and quick to assume? Had she matured as much as she'd thought? Surely he couldn't think too badly of her, he was acting like the same jovial and charming Valand she'd remembered... but was that just how he always was? She suddenly remembered his behavior around that one foul creature... Ragnar, was it? Yes, Ragnar, that was it. No! Of course he's not putting on a show. He's your friend, and despite your flaws, he accepted you before.
The smile came back, comforted for the most part by this. A gentle breeze whisked the air, ruffling her white mane slightly... and carrying the scent of another wolf. Hang on... who could that be? Not someone I know...

Valand just giggled in reply. He paused and thingyed his head to the right then began to think "Well, you're still a bit rough around the edges on your personality. BUT You're much better and have a sense of direction rather than stumbling in circles how you generally used to." he said truthfully with a smile. He winced when the smile disappeared for a brief moment. 'Not that...' than his thoughts were cutoff by another wolf's scent. "who could that be?"

Inima shifted uncomfortably as the others turned. Had they spotted her? She hesitated, about to run then gave in. Lowering her head she trotted slowly and reluctantly forward. She watched the two others out of the corner of her eye, still wary. She paused when she could see them both clearly, but was still a safe distance away. She tensed and lowed her golden gaze even further, tail wagging in a friendly fashion.
She stood frozen like that for a few moments as she thought about what she was going to do. Should I speak first..? Trying the best she could to look nonthreatening Inima, inched forward, smiling impishly. "Uh, hi." She lifted her head a little to catch their expressions, and flattened her ears against her head. "I hope I didn't interupt anything, I was just suprised to find others around here..." She trailed off and waited for a response, tail swishing from side to side. It had been so long since talking to anyone, she was embarrassed, and she hoped she had made a good impression.

Sonrisa turned, smiling tentatively at the newcomer. The quiet awkwardness showed that this new female had gone long without seeing others as well, and this sympathy and familiarity caused Sonrisa's gaze to gentle, as two brilliant green eyes slowly slid over the new face. She must be as lonely as we are...
Dipping her head, she continued to smile. "That's perfectly alright, dear. We haven't been here long, and it is lovely to see a new face after so much time, right, Valand?" Lifting her head again, she glanced around once more. There were no other wolves nearby, and the fireflies were beginning to recede as the sky brightened to pastels. "My name is Sonrisa. May I ask yours?" She looks harmless. It would be so nice to have another friend.

The ivory brute turned to the new wolf, looking with his friendly smile and sweetened tones rolled off of his tongue "Hello, I'm Valand " it seemed as though the new wolf was harmless and possibly lost, so it couldn't hurt being nice could it?
