+ Wolf Name: Kushiel
+ Pronunciation:[Use your imagination]
+ Gender: Brute
+ Age:6
+Alignment: With the dark side of the moon
+ Date of Birth: Irrelevant
+ Family: Passed on through the portals of Hell
+ Appearance: A tall, gamely black wolf with soul piercing golden eyes, just glancing at him can cause a tremor of fear. His feet are finely arched, well furred and padded, and his claws are quick to deliver punishment. His sinewy build allows him tremendous stamina and his long legs carry him easily through deep snow, water, and whatever else the divine Earth Mother throws at him. His thick, midnight coat keeps the elements from destroying his mortal body, while his golden eyes feed his mind and soul with all they take in.
+ Personality: Kushiel is a tempermental wolf; he might even be said to enjoy toying with others hearts and minds. While quiet and brooding most of the time, my lord Kushiel has taken to fits of rage as well, lashing out at those he deems punishable for whatever reasons he sees fit.
+ History: Delivered from the womb on a hot summer day, Kushiel was from a distinguished line of Hellraisers. His mother quickly cut the chord from her bastard son and left him to the mercies of her pack, challenging him to grow into a strong individual. Now, Kushiel was a keen-minded wolf from a very young age, and did not hate his mother or his pack. He understood her motives, and met her challenges, soon becoming the Beta of the pack. Disease became rampant, and his mother, through some instinctual tenderness, told him to flee, before he too was destroyed.
A brief summary of the Kushiel from Jacqueline Carey's Kushiel's Legacy novels via Wikipedia:
“Kushiel was the Punisher for the One God who delivered torments onto mortal sinners in order that they might repent. Alone among the punishing angels, he understood that chastisement was an act of love; and the sinners in his charge too came to understand and loved him for it. "He gave them pain like balm, and they begged him for it, finding not redemption, but a love that transcended the divine." This displeased the One God, who desired worship above all things. In Kusheth it is said that when Kushiel's sinners were offered the chance for repentance they refused out of love of their lord. Kushiel saw in Elua a soul that understood what he did, and thus left the service of the One God to follow Elua in his wanderings.”
