There was one solid path for Kezune to follow. No side tracks or detours that would disconnect him from that path. Doing exactly as his dreams played through in fear of loosing them if he disobeyed. His dreams told him exactly where to go and that was good enough for him. He did not know what was in store for him at the end of this road. The path he followed was a blind one. What kept him going were tiny bits of feelings that came with the dreams. Like any living thing that was deprived of something it needed, Kezune craved more of it. Thinking that perhaps he could become his old self again if he followed his dreams.
He'd have to hold on to those hopes in the wretched thicket that his path cut through. There was no detour around the tons of sharp thorns that awaited him. He had to follow a clear path, bare any hardships along the way. The day was young when he entered the thicket, now it was mid day. The weather did not call for snow yet, but tons of flurries were making up for their small size. Blinding the path ahead in their great quantities. It was a beautiful sight which somehow did not move Kezune's heart at all. The wolf was making bad progress, and the blinding flurries only made things worse.
Not having that advantage of small size as a pup or a rabbit would in this thicket, made Kezune's life all that more of a nightmare. He had to carefully work his way around the sharp thorns, hoping to avoid more scrapes, snags, and cuts. Sometimes walking straight into sharp thorns that were concealed in the flurries. Sometimes he had to bare his way through heavy clusters which resulted in tons of sharp thorns grabbing and digging down into his skin. Sometimes he would have to stop to free himself from vines that would just not let go. It was all an agitating, painful mess. Scratches and stabs covered his body, leaving tiny drips of blood marking his trail in the accumulating flurries. None the less he drove on as best he could, and by sunset he reached a clear part of the thicket where the thorns were only knee high.
((OOC: I can relate to this. A recent practice scenario game my team was playing (paintball), we split into groups of two and went off against one another. My teammate and me found ourselves working our way through a maze of thorns. Plus live on a farm, and always walk in the woods, sometimes going through that same area to get where I'm going quicker.))

(ooc;; there is snow on the ground right?)
The small white flurries danced about, covering everything needlessly in a blanket of moving white. The snow was nice but a slight irritation to the large frame female as she trotted forward, large paws moved onto a path that seemed to be hidden in the forest. Demo has been traveling for a good while now, but until recently she was on unmarked woods of wilderness; many wolves didn't need such paths to find their way, others have became dependent on these silly sources of traveling. 'A wild wolf can find their way without this stupid road..' Demolise passed a large thorn thicket without having to pass it, though some sticks had gotten stuck in her thick pelt. Tail moved with each step and ripple of her massive body as it slowed, Demo's skull turned with her icy eyes looking behind her down the white path. Ears flickered slightly as the sounds of other echoed into them, nose wrinkled as the fresh smell of blood found it's way in her nostrils; breathing deeply she turned to face this newcomer as her ear's flattened back, tail twitched annoyingly behind her while her eyes locked forward into the snow.
Demolise stood like a large statue in middle of the path, whom ever was approaching had gone straight through the thorns. A eerie growl rumbled from Demo's chest before rolling off her lips, the growl was loud enough to break through the wind and snow as another boiled within her chest. The growl might have given her away but she doesn't care, her coat would soon betray her against the snow. To Demolise everyone was a enemy,everyone was a opponent until proven else wise, even then she still wouldn't care.

((OOC: Yes there's snow on the ground. Also the road I was talking about was I guess more of a spiritual road, He's following the road that his dreams are drawing out for him.))
Plenty of jaggers were still lodged deep into the wolf's skin and especially down on the bottoms of his paws. Yeah it hurt, felt like the ground was made of a bed of razor sharp nails. There was the thought of ripping them out but it wouldn't have made much sense until he was out of the thicket, there were only more jaggers waiting to lodge themselves in his paws. Oddly enough it did not seem to phase him at all, even when he could be facing some serious damage to his paws.
At least he hadn't been overwhelmed by the worst of the thicket. Get yourself too stuck in that nightmare, and you won't be able to move. What would that be like? Firmly held still by tons of tiny needle like thorns. Every time you move or struggle for freedom it only hurts more. More thorns grab onto you and there's nothing you can do. You either die of starvation or die from struggling and bleeding to death.
Now even the smallest thorns died down as he broke out to the edge of the thicket. Free from the rough part of his path but rewarded with a not so friendly sound. He could hear a growl and with it the sense of danger and hostility. His curse, if you could call it that, prevented him feeling too many emotions. In this situation fortunate because he felt no fear, nor did he care much about the pain he'd already endured. There was no way he could show any signs of weakness which some of his brothers and sisters looked for as a sign to attack.
His single eye sought out the unfriendly growl, not difficult since the figure stood out from the white background. The character did not seem all too concerned about hiding itself either. He exchanged a blank stare with the mysterious wolf. "...You don't want to fight me" he said calmly, "...I've been to hell and back and I promise you I won't fall down." Digging his teeth into his side, he ripped out two or three thorns, coaxing out a bit of blood along with them. Sitting down he continued to rip more out, keeping his eye open for an attack every now and then. Did not matter that he had potentially hostile company, he was going to get the d**n thorns out of his body now that he was out of the thicket. If she wanted to watch then so be it.

Demo's icy eyes looked onto the younger wolf as her ears flickered, though still in their back position. This male stood stuck with the bed of thorns that stabbed into him, she only watched him pull out the annoying things. She didn't care about this male, nor what problems he has created from himself. That is merely his own fault. Demolise's face remained the same as she snorted at the smaller one's comment, swaying her tail he only appeared to be a waste of time- not that her time was needed anywhere. " You look might foolish male...stuck yourself in a unpleasant bed I might say.." Blinking she watched him with little to no interest, but didn't feel the need to leave right away. She wasn't in the mood to fight, though it was a act she would do mood or not. Flickering her tail Demolise looked at him with a mocking smirk, he would be an idiot in her book and they have nothing interesting to say or do.
His threat only brought a chuckle from her chest, if he believes in himself then good for him. Word threats mean nothing to her unless you can actually do them, she lives to fight an doesn't try to live a surviver. ' well well well, what have i found here...' Snorting loudly again another growl rolled out, raising a brow she only smirked at him. " I don't care if you fall easy..that's only a petty advantage"

Again Kezune blankly stared at the fae, this time with a different point of view.. She didn't seem like she was out for blood like he thought, but he could always be wrong. Also seemed like she was trying to provoke a fight out of him. Wouldn't work, the little comments meant nothing to him. They couldn’t mean anything and there was even a part of him that wanted them too. Wanted him to spark some kind of reaction and snap at the fae, share some kind of emotion.
"Don't really care for your impressions...I probably am foolish. Let my friend kill me, let some witch control me, just walked through a nightmare, and I'm following dreams. It's all alright though because I don't feel anything. There's pain running through my body right now but I can't touch the emotions that come with that pain. Nor can I touch any emotions about you, your just a unfamiliar face in my path." he said, yanking out another patch of embedded thorns. The snow around him becoming more and more tainted with a crimson color.

Demolise just watched the male with a raised brow, he seemed very boring now as she snorted loudly at his comments. This male was starting to get on her nerves with this stupid act of non feeling, which to some is good but here it look just ridicules. The thought of a fight was starting to look much better to her now as her noise twitched with scent, eyes narrowed as they moved to her side where a fox slicked about watching them. A devilish grin crawled itself on her maw before her eyes flickered back to the male with an unemotional intent, tail swayed once before her voice spoke out in a low rumble . " Well..that's good for you male unable to feel pain but you miss the sweet pleasures then.." Her voice was dark as her eye darted back to the hidden fox before her large body exploded into quick movement, mass kicked off the ground as she quickly slammed her body over the bush after the gray fox that was rounding the tree. A snarl rippled as Demo launched forward with her strong jaws open before snapping them shut and pulling to the side, she could feel the weight of the fox as she jerked him by his tail throwing him where she once stood.
Ivories shined as growls ripped from her throat as the fox let out a yelp from the impact, tail high Demolise leaped over the bush landing hard by the fox as it growled and yelped defensively towards her. Barking loudly she chuckled at it snapped at her paws as stepped around the small animal, slamming her jaws on its waist Demo closed them all the way as she threw her head around. Yelps of pain emitted from the animal as it snapped wildly grabbing the fur on her neck and chest leaving few cuts, pulling her head high she jerked it down hard as its head and upper form hit the ground loudly. After a few times she threw the fox a few feet ahead as she breathed with low rumbled in her chest, "Filthy vermin.." Her words were cold as Demo locked her eyes at the still alive fox before her, tail high she growled low ignoring the black male.
[ooc: hope this is ok she don'tlike foxes xD}
