+ Wolf Name: Ferik
+ Pronunciation:(Fair-ick)
+ Gender: Male
+ Age: 4 years
+Alignment: Neutral
+ Date of Birth: The Twelfth of August
+ Family:
Father: Sire
Mother: Akobie
Brother: Wox
+ Appearance: Ferik is not the great brute wolf who's big muscles voice his authority. Instead, his great height comes to be his power in presence. Standing much taller and more threatening than most around him. His slender height provides him with an even mix of speed and strength, more so, when these assets are needed he will rely on his intelligence and experience. Like his brother, Ferik is a very intelligent wolf. Dignity and integrity characterize his face along with a pair of bright blue eyes. His coat is a pure white that blends in none too well with the green environment he now inhabits. Ferik comes from the snowy mountaintops where the land is as white as his fur. The darkest part of him would be the uncovered skin around his eyes. Appearing as though he were wearing a touch of eyeliner.
+ Personality: This white wolf is not the stereotypical golden hearted alpha. His actions can be just as harsh as the cruelest of dark wolves. However, he’s not all that bad. In the same note, he can be just as pure as any light wolf. Basically when it comes down to it, Ferik acts however he wants to act. He doesn’t care about doing good nor evil, he just does whatever the heck he feels like doing. Obviously he acts much better towards his allies and harsher towards his enemies. In fact, he can take both directions a little overboard. If he wants an enemy dead, he will stop at no level. If an ally is in danger, he will protect them to the death like any of his warriors. Caring about his own life is not even a thought, Alpha can be replaced like any other rank in the pack. What’s important is keeping what he created in tune for the future.
The bad parts of him include an inability to let things go, extreme overconfidence in himself, and the tendency to mock tease others. However, the good parts are an highly intelligent mind. Devotion to his family and friends, and his ability to place his pack’s wellbeing ahead of his own. He can be harsh and cruel at times. There are also times when you could question his suitability as a leader. However, in the end he proves himself if only to his allies. He can have a great heart, and act as a good provider for the needs and necessities of his pack. Notably Ferik is terrified of large sums of snow, strange since he’s an artic wolf and he hadn’t always felt that way.
+ History: Born in a small litter of two, Ferik grew up like any other wolf. Taught how to survive, hunt, and fight for himself. How to make the best of the icy cold mountain peek to which his pack inhabited. Basically he’d grow up like most wolves, no need to piddle through childhood memories. All that needs to be known is that Ferik had a brother named Wox, and together they were the offspring of the alpha. Ferik would always get the upper hand in anything, and Wox would always come out number two. This was not a problem until a successor to the thrown was called upon. The alpha had passed of old age, and a new leader was needed. It was popular among the pack to continue leadership through the bloodline, but none could decide between the two brothers. As a solution, they pitted the two off in a friendly fight for supremacy and leadership. Ferik as he did his whole life, came out on top and won his right to lead the pack.
It was not enough that he won, victorious as he was in everything against his brother. Ferik also had to mock his brother along with the added insults of his friends. To this and everything else that Ferik put his brother through, Wox left the pack, never to return again. However, he was not fleeing from his brother and the leadership that he’d never be able to grasp. He was instead planning to destroy it all. Like his brother, Wox was not a dumb-minded wolf. He knew all about the lay of the land, and how sound frequencies tended to cause avalanches in their land. He took time, gathered together a group of shady loners, real oddballs. Mostly wolves in the area that fed off the pack, hated it, or wanted to overthrow it themselves. Together they stood at the mountain peek, and did everything in their power to cause a great avalanche over the land. As a sign of their hard work, the snowy mountain side began to thunder down towards everything below. Not threatening, but promising to bury everything in it’s path.
Ferik and his pack were on a hunt when they caught wind of the avalanche that quickly thundered down towards them. All wolves immediately made a mad dash away from the white cloud of death. Trees, dens, and everything in their territory were blasted away by the power of the falling snow. Eventually, one by one, the slower wolves were swept up into the deadly snow. The quicker of the wolves made it down to a cliff ledge, some jumping straight down to their deaths. The others, hopelessly ran alongside the ledge, hoping to find any option to survival. Ferik acted quickly, spotting a raise in the cliff where a big tree hollow stuck from the ground. He dashed up the hollow, barely leaping to the other side. Almost dieing because the force of his leap knocked the tree hollow down to the dark pit below. His pack was stranded on the other side, and soon swept into the wave of snow that flooded down the great cliff in the mountain.
Some time after the snow had settled, Ferik continued to howl out to any survivors. Not able to seek them out from vantage point. Those that answered his call were Wox and his small band of wolves. This time Wox had won, and it was his turn to mock his brother. However, Wox was not going to be satisfied until his brother was dead. Only the cliff prevented the two from finishing things at that moment. Wox and his followers would seek the quickest route towards Ferik while he set off down the mountain in escape of the snow. The avalanche set some things askew in the white wolf’s mind. How quickly a pack built generations and generations ago could be so easily destroyed in a moment. It also made him realize how useless he was in the situation, he could save nothing of it. This left him with a fear of the snow that he immediately had to escape. Perhaps too, he fled from his brother’s companions, it’d be foolish to fight outnumbered against all those wolves. So for those reasons he’d leave his destroyed land behind. He immediately knew what he would do from there. He wasn’t finished ruling, the right was given to him and he was determined to make use of it. Perhaps not on the snowy mountains since he didn’t want a repeat of what happened, but he was determined to find a new land to lead.
