Catella came to the borders of the aduros pack and she hoped with all her might that she would hopefully see some one soon. She had been alone some time sense her father had told her to find a pack for he was falling ill and would not make it through the winter. Catella was hungry she had not eaten in a few days and she was in a desperate need of some companionship and food she missed her father dearly but her instincts told her to not turn back for in her heart she new that her father was no longer with her but he was with tor, frenris and sita in heaven looking down on her and making sure that she does not fall into harm. catella was coming up to the top of a hill and on her way down her front paw had caught a root and she went tumbling down the hill. At the bottom of the hill she had landed on her back with all four paws up in the air and right in front of her nose was a rabbit a fat furry rabbit. the rabbit looked at her in with almost a split second catella was chasing the rabbit threw the trees and into some brush where she had snapped it up by its back leg with the rabbit screeching she felt bad so she quickly snapped its neck. she was happy to have some food in her belly and after gorging her self with that lovely meal she decided to sit and lay down she lay her head on her paws and licked the blood from her muzzle and slowly drifted off to sleep.
when she awoke she heard branches snapping in the woods she lifted her head ears alert she was nervous and she could feel her fear bubbling inside her. it was night time and her eyes were playing tricks on her she saw one figure then two then three she stood up facing the way the noise was coming from and prepared to fight she wasn't sure weather it was friend or foe " hello " she snapped with a tone of fear in her voice for she had never fought any thing before.

Nightly patrol always served as a calm walk through her forests. Beltane looked up to the crescent moon and smiled, the lunar beauty was always looking upon her, protecting her...guiding her. The brush had gotten thicker since her last round. It has been awhile, really, for there had been no real reason to re-mark her turf. However, with the dark pack beyond the valley growing in numbers, she could only become more defensive.

Green orbs peered into the vast darkness. Her triangular auds mounted themselves high above her skull, twitching and swiveling to follow any noise. Alas, she heard a great deal of commotion coming from ahead of her, so she trotted to the source. Sure enough, and female had wandered. She looked rather skinny, as if she hadn't eaten for weeks. Beltane observed her. She seemed innocent in her own way...curious about the noises around her. The alphess wondered how old she was. Surely not very.

As she slowly got closer, she failed to notice a limp branch upon the ground, and she stepped on it. Swiftly, she held still. Her black pelt would keep her in the shadows until need be. The newcomer look frightened, and called to anyone who could hear. Beltane giggled, and stepped out so the wolf could see her. "Welcome stranger, what brings you here?" Beltane spoke, softly and calmly.

catella heard the new voice it didn't sound threatening to her but she kept in mind that she should not let her guard down " i came looking for a pack, one that could use another member" she could smell the other wolf now it was a fae perhaps older than herself. catella was still nervous but she had wondered why she had a strange feeling of calmness around this wolf. she strained her eyes to see this other wolf and with high hopes that it was not a follower of wolfbane "are you friend or foe" she wasn't trying to create problems but she had it planned to flee if it turned out to be a follower of wolfbane.

Beltane smiled at the female. She had come looking for a pack, which meant she potentially had another member to follow her to the victory of the lights. She kept her stance dominant, yet friendly...showing this wolf that she indeed reigned high in her lands. The alphess' green eyes pierced with a warm glow, hospitable and welcoming to this stranger.

"Well, my name is Beltane, and I am alphess of this part of the lands. I would be more than happy to accept you into my pack, so long as you realize that we follow the path of light, and will fight to defend it's place in the world. What is your name?" She spoke with as much pride as a leader could have for her pack. There really was no use for the dark-hearted wolves in this realm. They did nothing but stir up unneeded hate and cruelty. Beltane's long, black tassel waved freely in the light breeze as she awaited a response.

" my name is Catella i understand, and thank you very much for accepting me into your pack i will surely be a great ally to you and your pack " the fae smiled and sat down peacefully she was happy to be apart of a pack again its been so long sense she had been in a pack. she felt over joyed with her acceptance " so how far do your borders reach and who are the other packs i know that one fallows wolf bane. my father had told me about three packs that were around here and he said to beware wolfbane followers that's why i was so defensive, i hope i didnt offend you in any way" Catella smiled into the complete darkness that surrounded her she wagged her tail and listened to the quiet thump of her tail on the ground
