The Secret Pond

Synx walked up towards the point on he cliff overlooking the ocean, he knew he needed to be carefull because many skull sized rocks would tumble down onto unsuspecting wolves offen and most of them could take it but Synx was not as strong as most wolves so a decent sized one to the head could nock him spiraling, uncounses to the sea. He sighed a heavy sigh as he made it to the edge and stared out at the endless ocean, infact he was so mesmerized that he didn't notice as the ground bellow his paws begin to giveway and before he had realised he was coliding with the water... He looked up at the sky and saw that he had fallen of the cliff but the water broke his fall he saw that he was trapped in a steap bowl like shape filled with water but the rim was still pretty high up and it was to steep to climb.
Synx winced as he realised how far he had fallen and how much he hurt after the impact, he saw a large lump of sand in the middle of the pond just reaching out of the water and crawled on it to rest...

Artenia knew she had to become familiar with everything, well most things anyway. She had ventured into the Unclaimed Terra. She saw a wolf lying in the pond. She rushed over, thinking it was dead. She sniffed it, then jumped back as she saw the rise and fall of his chest. She wondered why his breathing was so uneven. Unsure what to do, she lay down beside him, close, but not touching and drifted off to a light sleep.

Artenia awoke. Where was she? She glanced at the body beside her. She remembered now. She had stumbled off a ledge and ran into this wolf. This wolf who had probably fallen from a greater height than she! Artenia didn't know what to do, so she just lay down to sit vigil for the two.
