A crack of a branch to the left, and bird flying infont, and a strange smell of toads, water grasses, and a smell of something calm... something tranquil...
Grit walked forward, confident, then stopped and walked around a tree. a breeze came up and stayed for a good five seconds. Grit leaned back, then lunged, tail near the ground, ears pricked and nose high. Leaves in the wind made a russle and Grit darted around a group of trees. After fifteen seconds after the burst of wind, the leaves stopped and he slowed down. Grit finnaly felt the temperature go up a degree or two, and he put his tail on the ground and then stops. he looks up from the ground and sees the lake. the lake was still... the only thing still in the whole world to him. He walked around to an old rock the jutted into the water and walked out on it, then jumped confidently to a rock about five feet across the water. He then sat down, still looking across the water, but moved his head around lissening but not watching. All the fish were on the other side, but he had time before he had to get back. He would wait.

WindCatcher trotted from behind Grit, and looked at him with new, gentle eyes. Although she seemed gentle, she knew she could be a lot more dominant. She turned to him and sat down in front of the lake. The fish swam by, checking to make sure that they weren't going to be pulled out of the water without an escape. She peered to Grit, and her ears pricked forward at the new scent. A new scent...a new wolf...

Artenia crept behind WindCatcher. There where so many new wolves out here! She padded lightly over beside Wind Catcher and sat down.

Her feet shifted positions as she could tell a wolf was about her. She quickly jerked around to see a new wolf - who she could sense was female - crouching low. She sat down beside her, and WindCatcher's ears swiveled. She lied down, her tail thumping the wet, leafy floor. "Hello," She said. Stranger, she was not. To her, maybe, but to the pack she was not. She had met yet so many wolves - from her pack, and outside. She paused, and searched the ground for any moving particles. Usually there was a beetle or something about in the grass...
